I'm not very computer literate so someone please help me if you can. I signed up for the 12 Step Free Zone website to log onto their web page, but I can't seem to access the page!I don't want to get all sorts of e-mails, I just want to read what others are up to. I hope this makes sense to someone. I guess I should have posted this under the open forum, but it's 4 in the morning and I don't want to start over. Also, what does it mean when you post LOL on your responses here? I've been unable to figure this one out. Thanks, Angie IP: Logged |

Why did they make it 12 steps anyway? Why not 13? or 144? I don't trust anybody who arbitrarily invents a number 12 and then all the doctors, nurses, lawyers, judges and any other idiot with a hair up his butt is now blathering endlessly about 12 step programs. RR is the 1 step program. And your sponsor is your brain. But now that you signed up for that thing, I hope they don't come knocking on your door trying to sell you magazines. IP: Logged |

You might have to wait for them to send you a password.There is usually an option to not receive Email,vice versa. Zach IP: Logged |

Snake -- "Twelve" Biblically, the number twelve represents completeness of The Group: twelve tribes of Israel, twelve disciples, etc. (Seven is individual completeness -- days of creation, deadly sins . . .) I expect that AA's Founding Fathers made the conscious connection, but it's possible that the symbolism was so ingrained that they missed it. Cheers. IP: Logged |

Angie That is a Yahoo Group.You have to register with Yahoo first,then click on join group,enter user name and password from yahoo,then there is an option to receive Email. I went ahead and joined it.Looks interesting. Zach IP: Logged |
